Your report at a glance.
A short guide to understanding your personalized genetic report: what everything means and how to get the most from your results.
Every section follows the same simple pattern.
Your report is organized into the nine areas of your health, each with its own section. Once you know the rhythm, you can navigate any of them in seconds.
Step 01
Section cover page
Each major section starts with a bold title and image. These help you navigate to the topics you’re most interested in.
Step 02
Background & education
White-background pages explain the science behind each insight in plain language — what it is, why it matters, and how genetics play a role. This is general information that applies to everyone.
Step 03
Your personalized finding
Dark-background cards contain your unique genetic result for that insight, complete with a color-coded gauge showing where you fall and practical guidance tailored to your genetics.
Step 04
Key insight bullets
Orange-arrow (→) callouts highlight important details, mechanisms, or actionable tips tied to each finding.
The dark cards are your genetics.
Whenever you see a dark-background card, that’s your personalized result. They stand out from the white educational sections so you can quickly scan for the findings specific to your DNA.
Each dark card includes a title (the insight being analyzed), a written explanation of what your genetics indicate, and a color-coded gauge showing your result at a glance.

Example: insight name
“Your genetic profile shows…” — this is where you’ll find a plain-language explanation of what your DNA reveals about this specific insight, along with practical, mechanism-led suggestions.
Understanding the gauge colors.
Each dark card includes a color marker. Color and fill give you an instant visual snapshot. Here’s what each color means.

Green: Favorable
Your genetics are working in your favor for this insight. You may see labels like High Accuracy, Beneficial, Low Risk, or Low Need.
Possible labels
High Accuracy · Beneficial · Low Risk · Low Need

Teal / Blue: Moderate or informational
A neutral finding worth knowing about. Useful context, not necessarily a concern. Labels may include Typical Response, Higher Intake, or Low Propensity.
Possible labels
Typical Response · Higher Intake · Low Propensity

Yellow / Orange: Typical
A common finding that falls in the typical-to-moderate range. Labels may include Typical Response, Moderate Sensitivity, or Standard Levels.
Possible labels
Typical Response · Moderate Sensitivity · Standard Levels

Red: Action recommended
A significant genetic finding that may benefit from proactive steps. Labels like Low Efficiency or High Risk indicate areas where targeted nutrition, supplementation, or lifestyle changes can make a real difference.
Possible labels
Low Efficiency · High Risk
Remember: the gauge shows your genetic predisposition, not your destiny. Even red findings can often be addressed through diet, lifestyle, and working with a healthcare provider. Green results are great — and still benefit from healthy habits to maintain that advantage.
What the sections cover.
Your report covers a wide range of topics organized into major sections. Each digs into how your unique genetics influence different aspects of your daily life.

How you process dairy, gluten, fats, caffeine, and other common foods.
Macronutrients and Metabolic Optimization
Your ideal balance of carbs, fats, and protein based on your genetic makeup.
Micronutrients and Strategic Supplementation

Detoxification Pathways
How well your body clears toxins, medications, and metabolic byproducts.
Toxin Sensitivities
Which environmental exposures — mold, metals, chemicals — your genes are more sensitive to.
Athletic Performance
Muscle type, endurance, recovery rate, and injury predispositions.
Hormones
Thyroid, cortisol, and reproductive hormone tendencies.
Getting the most from your report.
Four simple habits that turn a report into a working manual.
Start with what matters to you
You don’t have to read cover to cover. Jump to the sections most relevant to your goals — whether that’s sleep, nutrition, training, or detox.
Scan the dark cards first
For a quick overview, look at the dark cards and their color markers. That gives you a high-level snapshot of your genetic profile in minutes.
Partner with a professional
Your report is most powerful when reviewed with a healthcare provider or Mosaic-trained practitioner who can integrate these insights with the rest of your health picture.
Blueprint, not diagnosis
The report reveals your genetic tendencies — not certainties. Your daily choices, environment, and lifestyle all shape how these genes express themselves.
