Why Mosaic exists
Ten years ago, Dr. Dan Stickler and Dr. Mickra Hamilton were already pushing the boundaries of human performance and longevity in private practice.
They kept hitting the same wall: consumer DNA tests were shallow, outdated, and useless in real clinical settings.
They refused to accept that the best tool available to ambitious humans didn’t exist. So they built it.
The journey
What started as an interpretation framework, refined client by client across more than a decade at Apeiron Center, became a full ecosystem: whole-genome sequencing, the Lifestyle Optimization Report, the platform that delivers it, and the Institute that trains practitioners to use it.
Then it became something larger.
The science is only useful if the practitioner guiding you knows how to read it. So Mosaic built the Institute — certification training in genomic interpretation and epigenetic lifestyle modification.
A healthcare operator, a vascular surgeon, and an epigenetics expert. A shared frustration with consumer DNA tests that don’t hold up in a real clinical setting, and a conviction that the science needs to be teachable, not just sold.
