What is Clara, exactly?

Clara is clinician-facing clinical decision support. It reads the interpreted lab and assessment reports you already have for a patient, runs eleven domain specialists plus a master synthesis, and produces a report you review, edit, approve, and sign: a Systems Health Map and a prioritized set of options. It is built deliberately as a Non-Device CDS, so it supports your decision-making and never replaces it.

Does Clara diagnose or decide anything?

No. Clara surfaces patterns, ranks the likely contributors and intervention points, and discloses the basis for each so you can evaluate it independently. You review and approve every specialist report before synthesis, and you approve and sign the final plan. The clinical judgment and the decision stay with the clinician.

What can I upload?

Accepted Answer

Interpreted, reported results: PDFs, images or scans of reports, and CSVs. That covers the panels most functional and longevity practices already run: blood chemistry, hormones, gut and oral microbiome, toxicology, metabolic and cardiovascular panels, biological-age clocks, and genomic or methylation report findings. Clara does not accept raw imaging, waveforms (MRI, CT, ECG, EEG), or raw sequencing files. You ingest the report’s findings, not the raw signal.

How does Clara handle patient data?

Clara is built for PHI. Patient data is encrypted, access is scoped per provider and per practice, and it is handled under a Business Associate Agreement (BAA). Records stay isolated to the practice that owns them.

How does Clara relate to Mosaic’s genomic reports?

Accepted Answer

They are complementary. A Mosaic Genomic Lifestyle Optimization Report is one high-value input Clara can read, but Clara is broader: it synthesizes across every interpreted report in a patient’s picture, with genomics as one layer. You do not need to use Mosaic sequencing to use Clara.
